Edge Parser

For small businesses that run the whole show

Forward it once. Find it forever.

Every invoice and receipt your business gets — and the contract you signed, the insurance certificate, the lease, the payslips. Filed automatically the moment it arrives, ready the moment you, your accountant, or your accounting software needs it.

Sound familiar?

It's the last Saturday of the VAT quarter.

Your accountant's email lands Thursday: "14 transactions still need receipts before I can file — list attached." By Saturday morning you're four down and forty-five minutes into a Gmail search for "google ads invoice" that turns up nothing but promotions. Which of your two Google accounts was this even on? You reset a password to check the billing portal. Two hours gone. Ten more to go.

And it's never just VAT. A new client won't confirm the job until they've seen your insurance certificate — somewhere in your inbox, under three renewal notices, is the current one. The lender wants bank statements from last March. The domain your website runs on quietly expired because the reminder went to an address you stopped checking.

Different paperwork. Same hunt. It doesn't have to be.

How it works

Three steps. None of them Saturday morning.

Forward

Give your suppliers one address to send to, or drop files in yourself. Nothing to install, nothing to migrate.

Filed

Everything is automatically labelled and matched to who sent it — the moment it arrives, not the moment you remember to sort it.

Ask

Ask a plain question, anytime. Get the answer — with the actual receipt, not just a guess.

What goes in

Anything you'd file under "I'll need that someday."

Receipts are the start, not the point. The same one address takes:

  • The contracts. The one the client signed, the one you signed, and the version before the amendments.
  • The insurance. The policy, the schedule, and the certificate a new client wants to see before you start.
  • The bank and card statements. For the three months the lender always asks about.
  • The staff paperwork. Contracts, payslips, pension letters — findable when someone leaves, or when HMRC asks.
  • The quotes. What you quoted them, what they quoted you, and what actually got agreed.
  • The renewals. Domains, software subscriptions, the lease, the van insurance — the things that lapse quietly when the reminder gets buried.

If it arrived by email, it's already in. If it's on paper, snap it and drop it in.

See it work

Ask your paperwork a question.

Type it in plain English. Get a straight answer — and the actual invoices it came from, so you never have to take an AI's word for it.

Ask the archive

Live
How much did we spend with Google Ads this year?

£3,412.60 across 11 invoices, split between your two Google Ads accounts.

When does the office lease renew?

1 March 2027, with six months' notice — so you'd need to decide by 1 September 2026. From the lease signed 14 Feb 2024.

Not a demo — our own books

Every month, it reconciles the books of the company that built it.

Edge Parser is a CloudMailin product, and CloudMailin's books are where it earns its keep. Throughout the month, every receipt and invoice the business gets files itself into the archive.

At month end, the AI works down the bank statement line by line: finds the receipt for each transaction, attaches it, and files the explanation in the accounting software — every entry marked for review, so nothing posts without a person clicking approve.

There's no bespoke integration underneath. Your AI assistant reads the archive on one side and your accounting software on the other — so whatever you keep your books in, the receipts are ready for it.

Doing the books used to take us a weekend. Now it takes a coffee.
